Lovely room in a nicely renovated older house. Modern bathroom and comfy bed. Our host Stephanie was very helpful and welcoming and cooked dinner for us as the local restaurant was closed. There is a kitchenette available for guests to cook basic meals and to make tea or coffee.

I spent one night in this delightful small hotel. It was a convenient stopover but I would certainly return. There used to be hundreds of simple, family run hotels like this across France but few remain, replaced by soulless chains. The Hotel du Mouton Blanc has only 5 rooms, but they are individual, with character. There are tea/coffee making facilities and even a communal microwave. The patronne was helpful and my breakfast, like the hotel, was good value.

We had one of the best experiences ever of hospitality at the Moulin de la Rouchotte. It was an absolute delight to be in this quiet location behind the village where Jonathon and Claudia have lovingly restored the old stone mill and turned it into a haven for the discerning guest. If you appreciate artistry in decor, organic food, attention to detail, high quality bathroom products, good conversation, then you will find a special atmosphere has been created here. The breakfast was ample, organic, tasty and fresh, with the odd hen who laid your egg strutting around outside in the courtyard. Sleeping is sweet on a quality mattress, inside the deep quiet of the thick stone walls. We will certainly return to this place.

Fantastic self contained gite with private parking and a raised terrace, next to the canal. Perfect stopover with dogs, walks along quiet tracks straight from the door. Very comfortable and nicely decorated, extremely quiet. Every need thought of, including a beer!

The design of the house was very good. Sofas were very comfortable. Nice bedrooms. Spacious and well equipped apart from the lack of towels.

Perfect little home away from home. Not a postcard studio, but a real place made for living. In a quiet small square in the heart of town, with a nice private front garden to relax. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen fully fitted, the bathroom with shower had plenty of hot water. Karine was a perfect host, helpful, attentive, considerate and friendly but at the same time gave us all the privacy and freedom. Beautiful, in beautiful surroundings, with a perfect host. We loved it.
