We enjoyed a fabulous 4-night stay in this historic and charming house with a beautiful garden along the Saone River. It's well located for day trips by car to all pleasures that burgundy has to offer: from visiting old villages and Monasteries to cycling through the vineyards near Baune. Jan is the perfect host, providing a great breakfast and "inside" information on where to eat and what to do.

We had problem with internet but our host waited for us patiently. Nice, clean house, good size bedroom with nice wardrobe and comfortable large bed, 2 single beds in another room. Kitchen with all what you will need, hair dryer, towels, toiletries in bathroom. We had nice morning view and amazing neighbours -2 horses just across the gate, lovely cat visited us every evening. Good WiFi, really great place just around 35minutes drive from Dijon.

We loved our stay at Cascarot. We had a very comfortable bedroom with lots of style and a magnificent ensuite bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious food at a fair price. The views and the ambiance of the terrace are wonderful and it’s great to while away some time there. The terrace a surprise as you don’t have any idea that it is there from the front of the hotel. They had secure storage for our cycles. And we were allowed the use of the terrace when we arrived mid afternoon before check in time.

Wonderfull place, amazing hosts! So kind and attentive, we felt right at home. The house is one of the most beautiful and authentic places I have ever been to, so stylish and perfectly decorated! Every little detail looked like a magazine illustration, it almost felt unreal… the breakfast on the terrace was another perfect thing about this place. Cedric was very friendly, the cabin was super clean, with new cosy furniture, and we had the great views of the fields from it. Cedric even gave us eggs from his chickens and local home made jam for breakfast, and coffee. we felt at home and totally recommend. the location is close to Beaune by car if you want to pay a visit.
