    My wife travelled alone with our two dogs as I was taken into hospital. The property and location far exceeded her expectations. The scenery and walks are exceptional. We are hoping to return as soon as possible when I am ok. The location is perfect for dogs.

    Lovely welcome and customer service throughout our stay by the owner. Great little pub and you can see they are starting to put their mark on it. Great food even though it was busy the evening we ate and smashing breakfast. Lovely room. Very accommodating for the dog. One of the owners is coeliac as is my partner so it was great that she was catered for in both food and beer with plenty of GF options. We will be back.

    It was warm, comfortable and very homely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for walking and being able to take our two small dogs was a bonus.

    Absolutely immaculate. Beautifully decorated and everything you needed. Good quality bedding and towels. Welcome box was a lovely bonus. There was a dog box if you needed a dog bowl and towel etc as well. Enough kitchen amenities such as kitchen roll and dishwasher tablets. Stunning location and very near local pub and shops.

    Extremely comfortable, clean and cosy, dog friendly, close to great walks and numerous pubs. Bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, the heaters were great and took the chill off in no time at all.

    The location was great an several pubs in the village to visit. It was a self contained apartment so could eat in and stay and go as we pleased also dogs were allowed.
