There is an enclosed garden (albeit with a steep river bed running through) and lots of lovely walks nearby. We enjoyed watching the lovely songbirds that would come to visit the locally crafted bird tree. The cottage is decorated beautifully with comfy sofas, bedding, and a large bath. It has everything you would want for a cottage stay. I loved the garden, games and all the information about the area. It is dog friendly, which is what we were after, and came with a dog bed and an emergency dog mess box. Had an issue with the shower but communication with owner was easy and was sorted really quickly. We got to meet the housekeeper, he had lots of local recommendations. The cottage has everything you need - the owners have really thought of everything. It’s very dog-friendly with poo bags and dog bowls.
