The location was perfect opposite the village car park with a donation charge of 50p. The accommodation was perfect with all the expected facilities and more. The pub and accommodation were both immaculately clean and the staff so friendly and helpful. Would definitely choose to stay again if visiting the area.

    Have stayed before under previous owners and loved our stay in every way, so decided to give it another go under new management. The lady that showed us to our room and subsequently served us some lovely drinks in the bar was welcoming and friendly. The room was as stated on website and of course the location is spot on but then we new that having stayed before. Alfie the dog was a bonus he was adorable.

    The accommodation was warm, beds lovely and cosy. Food in the restaurant was exceptional and always hot. Staff were nice and friendly. Very hard working. Dogs allowed happily in the bar area.

    Location was great as a stop on the way to our main holiday. Beautiful old inn and the staff were lovely and friendly. Food is excellent with a varied menu, not the usual pub grub. The inn is dog friendly, we are not dog owners but there was not a single dog hair in our room so whoever does the cleaning there can pop to mine anytime.
