The breakfast was excellent.The location was in an old building mentioned in The Doomsday Book on a country lane above the port in the oldest part of Instow. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.It is 10 min downhill walk to the main part of Instow and pubs, eateries and beaches

Not only was the stay wonderful, our lovely host offered to drive all four of us to the wedding we were attending up the road — and was a wiz with pliers when my friend realised his suit still had the security tag on it. We were made to feel so at home. And so close to the beach and the village, what's not to love? Highly recommend.

    Stunning classic cottage in a beautiful location. Surroundings were exceptional. Limited WiFi and no phone signal was a positive for us. Cot, high chair, washing machine, tumble dryer - all made it feel like a home from home and perfect for walkers as the river and local walks were beautiful. Feather bedding and pillows were lovely although one of us has a feather allergy which made for some bed-cover jigging.
