The Highland getaway was amazing..very much 5 star.. had things we didn't think we needed! The attention to detail was above and beyond. Even dressing gowns and slippers. Beds were super comfy. Shower was powerfully and hot. And cooking facility was spot on. The kids loved the freedom of the park with forest walks across the road. And steam train within 5 mins walk.. no WiFi was not a problem for us. But there was no connection.

Stayed here for one night with my dog after a day of hiking, but would happily have stayed longer. It’s a clean, cozy place to stay with everything you need, very comfy bed and only a 5 minute walk into town. The welcome basket full of treats was also very thoughtful. Would highly recommend staying here, it’s an excellent dog friendly base for exploring the cairngorms.

    location was stunning and the place for dog friendly. the bar area downstairs has lovely decor and staff were friendly. the room was clean and shower was powerful. in the morning i walked 100m along the road to the woodland walks and walked for miles in the forest. was beautiful.
