We were 4 bikers on a weekend trip. Upon arrival we’re given a lovely warm welcome. Showed to our chalet which was spotless clean. Proximity to the main was fab just a short walk or stagger back. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Disdow House is in a beautiful setting with spectacular views. The house itself, has been done to a very high standard and quality. It is incredibly well equipped and has everything you could need and more. It's a fabulous entertaining space for a large group, allowing everyone to socialise together in one, open plan space, with incredible views as your backdrop. The bedrooms are all spacious with large beds, quality bedding allowing for a comfortable sleep. From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to have a great family break and they even had 2x christmas trees to make our December get away even more special. Location is the perfect balance of being secluded in your immediate surroundings to enjoy the privacy, whilst being close enough to the village where you will find bars, restaurants and some lovely gift shops. I could continue with even more that I loved about Disdow House!

Clean and beautiful cottage. Everything worked. Lovely back garden to relax in. Good kitchen with lots of equipment. Would definitely stay again. Had a lovely meal at the Star hotel. Short drive to several supermarkets and lots to see and do in the area.

Had an amazing break away for 4 nights. Location was perfect so peaceful and tranquil just what we were needing at the moment . Wood fired hot tub for use aswell with logs and kindling available aswell. Hot tub was amazing and hosts also emptied and refilled for us with fresh water when we were away out . Hosts were lovely friendly and very helpful. First time we ever done glamping as such and we really enjoyed it . Our frenchie Fury also had a great time there aswell making friends with sheep and donkey . Animals around to see aswell as on farm little piglets born just a week ago some extras we weren’t expecting also there’s a games room diwn the road 2 mins we never knew about this until we read comments on guest book so glad we went down pool table darts board air hockey and football to play board games . We loved our stay here and will definitely be back sometime.great prices aswell well worth the money and is also private aswell with enclosed fence and gates . Thanks for our amazing stay xx

The lodge was extremely comfortable and had everything that was needed for a great break. Local beauty spots were lovely and many walks were taken.

    The location was perfect, just off the A75 on the way to Cairnryan. The facilities in the village were good - a shop, petrol station & pub/restaurant. The facilities in the accommodation were also good.

    Quiet, private, very clean and comfortable. Beautiful cottage garden. Location ideal for Galloway Forest and coast. 5G phone signal. Very well equipped kitchen (including air fryer). Netflix. Petra is a perfect host.

    Great location for walkers or bikers. There are dog friendly rooms on the ground floor with direct outside access. I booked late, so missed out on the dog friendly rooms and was allocated a second floor single room, which was adequate for me, but awkward for my elderly dog. The view was great. Host and evening receptionist were both lovely and helpful. I didn't use the communal kitchen facility, but it looked clean, well stocked and maintained. Have booked again for next year. The price is very good.
