The new owners of this place couldn't have been nicer! We had a long couple of days and were running late, but we could easily contact either the pub ( and after our first delay) directly. It was good to know that they understood our delay and could also accommodate them. To be honest th hospitality we received was second to none. It was clean, tidy and had a great atmosphere. Such a welcoming place and we will definitely return. Thank you to all that work there. .

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We went on Christmas eve and Christmas day so there was naturally fewer staff around but those who were around were helpful and friendly. The Executive Room was also large compared to the other manor-type houses which we had stayed in. There was sufficient space for 2 adults and 2 toddlers to run around. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast and evening meals were delicious and it is well situated for visiting Highclere Castle and the surrounding area. We didn’t take our dig in this occasion but it was good to see that dogs are welcome.
