Mountain View House was beautiful, it is a lovely and cosy place to stay, the owner has paid attention to detail. The beds were comfy with cosy, lofty doonas. The house was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. The location was great and it was a short walk to the inn for a meal.

Perfect overnight stay, great location away from the main tourist routes. Very comfortable and warm. My husband loved having a TV in the pod which was an unexpected bonus after weeks of travelling. Lots of places to explore nearby. I loved the waterfall walk with stunning views. Nice pubs but make sure you book a table in advance during peak season, good supermarket and fish and chip shop.

Reading other reviews beforehand made me unsure of booking this place but honestly people are just dramatic and maybe haven't stayed outside of cities in UK before. It was super lovely place to stay and while it's not the newest building maybe, everything worked perfectly, the room was cosy and cute, and it was clean and had everything you'd need like kettle, hair dryer etc.
