I was absolutely delighted by the Rose and Crown. The room was spacious and very clean, with all needed amenities. The staff for the hotel/pub were all very friendly and helpful with providing information on getting around to where I wanted to go.

I stayed longer than one night. The staff were very friendly, approachable and went the extra mile. A lovely, quintessential English pub/restaurant. The food was excellent and served hot - as it should be if it's meant to be hot. The rooms vary, I had two due to my extended stay. Both rooms were comfortable and the beds, very comfortable. The larger room was amazing with lots of space and character. High fives for manager Lizzie / Liz (?), James the chef, Cameron, Jess, Ellie, Mia, Zack, Rosy, Izzy, Chloe , Sheryl / Cheryl (?). Good team one and all. It's dog friendly too!

    The location is perfect for us as we have family in the surrounding area so we could all meet and have a Starbucks and all so easy to get to lambourn where most of the family live. Having the dog with was was perfect and having the grass hill right outside made late night pee really easy

    The motel had a toaster and microwave so you could make your own breakfast. Perfect for dogs, easy exit for quick late night dog walk. Very friendly staff. Liked the bonus of dog treats on reception. Next door to lots of food and drink facilities - such as 24hr WHSmiths.
