Everything, the tent was set on in the middle of trees on a lovely farm growing vegetables, the bed was very comfortable and Benn made sure I had enough blankets to be more than comfortable! The shower and compostable toilets were perfect and close enough to be convenient. My personal favourite thing was the opportunity to feed their baby duck, a lovely stay despite the rain. (although the sound of the drops on the canvas was very nice!) Thank you barefoot retreats, I'll be back for sure!

Building is simply stunning. Super comfy beds and gorgeous bathrooms. Amazing attention detail and fully stocked kitchen. Prosecco and card on arrival was such a lovely touch! Can’t wait to stay on December again! Thank you

Addy and Gareth were just amazing from the time I arrived, until the time I left. Bed was soooo comfy, meals were amazing and well priced. After reading some of the previous reviews, Addy is obviously on the right track. Would definitely stay here again and happy to recommend. Keep up the good work and customer focus team. The property was perfectly located . The owners could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. They went as far as offering me an additional room at no extra cost as my circumstances had changed The chef and housekeeping staff were super friendly and it felt like home from home. Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and furnished beautifully. The food was good and the terrace lovely for drinks. Breakfast was excellent and offered traditional full English and a range of vegan, vegetarian and other tempting choices. I would definitely go back there. The location enabled us to walk straight onto the high street with its historic buildings and great shops and eating venues. Parking is available close by. We would recommend the Gothic house and will be returning there. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable.
