We spent five very enjoyable days at Y Bwthyn in November. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and the location is stunning. We had no problem following the directions to the accommodation, which is three miles along a narrow road north of Llanbedr. Annwen, our host, was very helpful and the cake she had left for us was delicious! There are good walking trails all around, accessible directly from the cottage or within a short drive.

The village setting was absolutely beautiful.. the house and gardens were stunning! Room was a great size, bathroom was clean and the house has such character! They even packed a breakfast for us to take a we needed to leave early the next morning.. fantastic service!! I'd definitely stay again!

This was a fantastic place to stay. The overall feel of the property was just fantastic - very well presented, with every amenity you could need, and plenty of space for the whole family. The central location in the village meant it was easy to find, and we were just moments away from the local shop and pub. Oh - and the gift basket to welcome us on our arrival was a brilliant touch - we immediately felt right at home with a cuppa!

The site that the cottage is located in feels very exclusive and is beautifully landscaped and maintained. It has everything you need and is an excellent base for exploring Harlech, Porthmadog, Barmouth, Carmarthen and Cricceth to name just a few. The cottage it's self is very modern and cosy and we couldn't fault it.

    The cottage is in a beautiful setting. So peaceful. Inside is comfortable, well maintained, and very clean. Love the log burner. Really appreciate the milk, coffee and the cake. Bedroom had an extra electric heater and bed had an electric blanket. Comfortable bed, great bathroom. Great communication with the hosts. Even though the cottage allows pets, there is no evidence of any previous pets, very clean and no animal smell. We loved our stay and are hoping to be back again soon.
