    Lovely location in the countryside but ideally located for Froyle Park (wedding reception venue). Warm welcome, lots of character- but in a good traditional way, rather than twee - and everything we needed in the room. Very spacious room and big bathroom with lovely walk in shower. Toiletries were lovely and there was even a pillow spray. There were plenty of books and magazines in the room, too. Breakfast was delicious.

    Staff were super friendly. Really cosy atmosphere, great food, really comfortable and spacious rooms. Made to few at home. Location was perfect for the wedding venue we were attending.

    Friendly staff at all points of contact, couldn't fault the service., Great location (we attended a wedding at Bury Court). Had lunch on arrival and really enjoyed the food, excellent breakfast too. Everywhere was lovely and clean and rooms had everything you would need. Just a pity we didn't have more time to spend there. Hope we get the opportunity to revisit in the future.

    This was the best pub hotel break we've ever had. Lovely old pub with low beams and real fires, but also with modernised rooms (with posh coffee machine and nice toiletries). All the staff were patient, knowledgeable and helpful. New head chef is great. We also found the location was perfect for dog walks. Will definitely return here and recommend. Thanks!
