A beautiful house in quiet picturesque surroundings. Nigel greeted me on arrival and took my breakfast order while giving welcome advice about nearby restaurants for my evening meal. My room at the top of the house was warm, cosy, clean and spacious. Lovely aspect over looking the lawn and garden from my window. Snacks tea facilities and water present. Evidence of recycling in action. Loads of warm water for great shower. Information book about area, history and facilities was great reading. Breakfast excellent. Coffee perfect sitting in bay window with sun streaming in and a local pheasant outside the window. Lovely break.

We had a lovely overnight stay. Room 5 has a nice period character vibe with lovely historic features. Dinner in the pub was very nice indeed, and of generous proportions. We found the bed very comfortable, the room was clean and fresh, the best equipped with everything we needed, and more besides. This has been the best stay over we have experienced over our entire six weeks holiday from Australia, even the heating worked beautifully!!. We would recommend the White Heart to anyone needing comfortable accommodation. Thankyou, John and Sue Turner.

    Excellent communication in run-up to stay. All the "essentials" provided (eg washing up liquid, shower gel, cooking oil) were a bonus and not necessarily standard. Lovely welcome of fresh flowers, prosecco and cake on arrival. Everything super clean and really comfortable beds and bedding. House quite hot, so provision of fans was fantastic.
