Lovely pub and room, very typical. We loved the availability of the staff, they allowed us to leave the bags after our check out time so that we could easily visit around. Everything was cleaned and perfect, we even got some biscuits, water, tea and coffee stuff, which is really appreciated and not everyone provides it. Really recommended!

I travel to Manchester Airport a few times a year, & the Alma Lodge is so handy. You can leave your car there for the duration of your trip, its included in the room rate. And the 199 airport bus stops right opposite the hotel outside the petrol station. Alternatively the hotel can book a taxi to the airport, it costs £23. And it's a lovely hotel, rooms are very comfortable, staff are very friendly & helpful.

Lovely little house very cosy, Netflix was a good bonus. Comfortable bed. My friend and I were on a walk for charity it was very handy it had a washing/dryer machine. We decided to get a takeaway. Just eat was very quick.
