The Lansdowne is unbelievable value for money! It’s a fabulous find. All the staff I came across were delightful. My single room on the second floor with a great view of the sea was more than I expected - an extra sitting area, comfortable bed, good quality, appealing furnishings, bathroom not recently renovated but perfectly clean with everything you need including a comfortable bath and fluffy white towels. The multiple lounge areas and bar are inviting, a lovely spot to relax with a drink or a chat or quiet read. The restaurant 1920 was also a great experience. Good food, nice setting, friendly good service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While the interior appears a little dated and tired when you first enter, the furnishing is actually very tasteful and makes you feel at home fairly quickly. It is somewhat the nature of places in Eastbourne, given they do tend to cater to an older demographic from what I can see. Room had a good view of the sea. Cooked breakfast in morning was high quality. Staff were all lovely, from reception desk to bar staff to waiters at breakfast. Definitely a good place to stay in Eastbourne, not too far from the main coastal strip.

    The location is stunning! Stepping outside the house, you are surrounded by beautiful nature. No busy road, no people, and super close to the beach/coast. You cannot reach the cottage by car but the hosts provide parking nearby and have a van which is perfect for transporting you and all your luggage. The cottage is clean and newly refurbished. It’s cosy and we loved our stay there.

    Beautiful house in fantastic location. Loved the private gardens (especially that they are dog secure and welcoming!). The rooms were just right, refillable quality (actually useable on my hair!) toiletries, awesome breakfast and the nicest genuinely friendly staff. Emma the owner was helpful and very welcoming.

    We had a wonderful time at the Farmhouse. The room was really comfortable, cosy and warm and we really appreciated the Christmas tree and decs. The breakfasts and all the facilities were fab with a very relaxed and restful atmosphere. Emma and all the staff were so friendly and helpful and made us and our old dog feel very welcome. Perfectly located for Seven Sisters Country Park and the South Downs Walks.
