    Perfect cottage, lovely hosts. Private, comfortable and great location. Kitchen perfectly equipped and very comfortable rooms. We were quite lucky with the weather but would happily return in winter ( huge fireplace). Conservatory good for muddy boots or dogs. Recommended to dog-owning friend. Pictures don’t do it justice. Enclosed garden was a real bonus.

    We had a lovely stay at the Forest Inn which is ideally placed for access to the moor. The hosts are really accommodating serving up hearty meals and great beer and cider. It’s the best dog friendly place that I’ve stayed.

    We have stayed here a few times before. This is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. The food is very good. This is also a locals pub, servicing a small village, right by one of the best parts of Dartmoor. But this doesn't mean it gets too noisy, and it is certainly not unfriendly. They are very dog friendly too. But the rooms do not smell doggy, unlike some places. If you are visiting the Yelverton area, this is the hotel I would recommend.

    Great location, super friendly staff. Paddy even cooked an extra sausage and egg for our dog. Love the fact it’s a completely dog friendly environment. Dated property which you can tell from some of its more unique features throughout
