That it was a genuine trull! Once I switched off the refrigerator, the room was absolutely quiet. So lovely it was that I opted to postpone sightseeing until after the check-out. I enjoyed being a home-body in the historical trull. There was even a kitchen.

This is a strange review, as we actually ended up staying at Hotel Silva, which manages the trullo. We arrived in the middle of a heatwave and, as Americans, we weren't comfortable with the air conditioning in the trullo. The Hotel was gracious enough to transfer our non-refundable booking from the trullo to the hotel.

Fabulous stay, wonderful setting amongst olive groves, peaceful away from the crowds of the city. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful and provided an excellent breakfast. Truly special to stay in a Trulli house.
