Most fantastic hotel in Tuscany. We visited several places but this was the best. Not only are the rooms really nice, also the garden and the view from it is outstanding. The service is really great and helpful. All the best.

Casa Dreosti is located right in the heart of Cortona. I stayed here for the weekend mainly to attend a wedding, but the property, the wonderful host Jeroen, and the two sweet dogs made the trip even more memorable. The location is fantastic, the rooms are cozy and relaxed, and the whole place feels picture perfect. More than a guesthouse, it felt like staying with family. Jeroen was incredibly helpful, offering great advice about the surroundings and dining options. I would love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cortona.

Chose this hotel outside Cortona for its views and pool and neither disappointed. The grounds and pool are beautifully kept, and plenty of seating/sunbeds with shade if you want it (I do!). Dinner on the terraced outdoor restaurant was also accompanied by a fab sunset over the valley. Room had character, was clean, and with quiet aircon. Breakfast was a veritable feast if you wanted it, and the variety, even for those of us wanting savoury options, was excellent. The location was only a 10-minute drive from Cortona, which had ample parking.

Villa Marsili is a small, cozy boutique hotel where we felt cared for and truly welcome. We had a beautiful, antique-style room equipped with all modern comforts. The breakfasts were exceptional gourmet experiences – everything served was fresh and delicious, and we especially enjoyed the chef’s handmade savory delicacies made from local ingredients. Each evening from 7 to 8 PM, signature cocktails and snacks were offered – greetings to the lovely young man who mixed our drinks! We were able to park our car for free on the street next to the hotel, and a hotel staff member arranged the spot for us. Normally, parking can be difficult during the tourist season, but I believe we would have found a spot a bit further away if necessary, as there are several parking lots around the town and there were spaces available in the evenings. We will miss this hotel and the time we spent in Cortona. We’ve been to Cortona twice before, but this experience and hotel choice surpassed all previous visits. We’ll definitely come back to the same place in the future. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
