Very good breakfast with cooked options and wide range of fruit and pastries etc. The family were exceedingly friendly. Coffee and teas available and without charge, also water both sparkling and still. terrific location in amongst the mountains but you really do need a car, there is a bus that runs past but we did not use it as we had the hire car so I do not know about frequency. It takes a few minutes to drive to San Pellegrino Terme(the last train left in 1966 so bus taxi or car needed) where there is a large selection of restaurants all very reasonably priced. Getting back to the hotel, they are in the process of building a new pool which Covid stopped work on but it does not detract from the views or the other facilities, the grounds were interesting with a fishpond and nice man made stream with frogs and toads and lots of Carp, the sauna pool and spa bath were all excellent, I used the sauna and spa bath a lot but never had to share with other guests despite a steady flow of guests and all available 24 hrs a day. The bathroom was well equipped with a large walk in shower with multiple jets and good quality toiletries. The bed was comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. The owners sell local wines (15€ average) in reception and there was a small stocked minibar in the room.

The building is so gorgeous, looks like a museum for outside but yet modern inside. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast area is very cozy and the food choices were few but enough. There is another restaurant for dinner on the second floor called Nasturzio has a beautiful view of the mountain. The food was very delicious and the ambiance is so good.

We chose La Floppa for its location and it was what we expected, there is street parking available, but watch out for the daily hour limits. You will need your parking display. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, very friendly, showed us the apartment and explained everything and gave us information about where to buy food, restaurants, local cheese and told us about a street food party which was excellent as we like to eat! It was great. Local people are very friendly, they will salute you in the street even though we were obvious strangers. The location is great for alpine walking, mountain bike, street bike.. there is a bike shop nearby, in case you need to fix your bike, buy a new one etc. It is actually in front of the famous Italian ice-cream shop, nearby the pastry shop and most of all the San Pellegrino water.

    Amazing cozy place up in the mountains with a wonderful atmosphere and everything you need to relax. Loved the dogs especially and also the breakfast was very special.

    It's an incredible place, kinda in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature. The building is fantastic, inside it looks like a museum! I totally fell in love with this place. The owners are very lovely and super nice people. Breakfast was amazing, they had everything and it was delicious. I also was very happy to see that the owners have 2 beautiful dogs, it was so much fun to play with them. Really great experience, its the best place to relax and escape from a big city. And I would love to come back someday.

    Very sweet and antique decorated house. The hosts are super friendly and make you feel immediately like home while preparing world class breakfast! Definitely need a car to reach the location and move around but stunning view once you are there. The garden is big and again home-y, with dogs and cats running around. We'd definitely come again.
