    We booked the dependence close to the castle. Beautiful room with all the comforts you need. But the best was the atmosphere in the castle! Gorgeous common rooms, a patio where you can have dinner and a fantastic roof terrace for breakfast. Lots of greens around the castle was great for our dog walk.

    Fairytale accommodation in a castle dating back to 1732, the building and the gardens are absolutely beautiful. Location is special, up on the hill, overseeing the Monterado village and with a view of the Adriatic sea. The swimming pool area in the garden is perfect, for adults and kids. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The dining area outside between the building walls makes for a unique experience, and the food is first class. Do stop by if you have the chance, we will be back.

    Everything - we had splashed out on the Principe Suite which was outstanding. Food and wine excellent (ate there every night of 4 nights!) and good value, also courtyard for supper was lovely. Breakfast outstanding on the ramparts watching the swifts overhead and looking down to the Adriatic. Staff excellent, almost family and the pool and pool bar were brilliant. 9.7 on booking.com - not a scam! What a location!

    Amazing scenery. First class breakfast. The location and castle actually provides the visitor with a virtual journey to the 17th 18th century. The castle as well as the (huge) garden and the swimming pool area are very well maintained.

    Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. The apartment was large, comfortable and was very well equipped. The pool was beautiful with amazing views. The castle was amazing, beautiful rooms, very well restored. Breakfast was delicious with a view over the beautiful countryside.

    We had a wonderful week at Castello di Monterado. The staff were all lovely, breakfasts on the terrace were delightful, the dinners were excellent, the rooms were enormous and really comfortable, the interiors were stunning and the pool was gorgeous and relaxing. We were holidaying with our family and two dogs and we loved walking in the woods in the early mornings and evenings and it was great that we could bring them with us to dinner.
