Situated half an hour from the coast in the old town or Tortora, this is a little hidden gem. Fabulous friendly hosts. Incredible breakfast which included home baked local goods and very reasonably priced evening meal (5 courses) featuring local cuisine. I wasn’t looking for this place . It was a stopover on my way through to Rome from the South. I will definitely be back. Excellent value for money Photos taken from top of the village at dusk of a misty winter evening. Franco and Rita are super hosts. Comfortable room, with patio and access to beautiful garden (incl small swimming pool). Stunning views of the sea and mountains behind. Spotlessly clean. Best breakfast we've had in Italy. Rita's baking a real treat! Would highly recommend it. We went to the beach in Acquafredda. Easy parking. You could hire sunbeds. Not crowded. Magnificent place to swim, water so clear and clean. Thanks Franco and Rita for making it such an enjoyable holiday!!

Wow very nice center hotel in maratea close to the old town center very nice friendly family home running not to be missed , very clean. Nice rooms with stunning views from the pool and hot tub and nice view to see the Jesus Christ redeemer statue, owners are a blessing so kind and nice and very helpful , the hotel is only of a kind for her features it used to be a convent but they really transformed it in a cosy locanda not to be missed

    The villa was a true paradise, built with love and care. We loved it so much, that it was hard to depart. The rooms are spacious, kitchen was equipped with all items for cooking, and grounds were immaculate. The location is close to the grocery, restaurants, old town, port/beaches, and local sights. It was also great for day trips up and down the coast. Most importantly, Nicola, the host was wonderful. He has a passion for his work. He was attentive, communicative, and helpful throughout our entire stay. We would love to return soon.
