First off, the food was AMAZING! Best vegetarian food I ate my whole trip (dinner pic included). Breakfast included homemade bread that was still warm...The whole place consisted of: an entry way, toilet room, traditional tatami mat room with mattresses on the floor, small kitchenette and living/dinning area with AC. There is a shower room off the living space shared with the host family. There was also a beautiful back deck with the sauna and mosquito netting for sitting outside. The house is a very short walk to the Teshima Art Museum which was the main point of our trip. It is also a nice walk to La foret des murmures and the electric bike I rented form the host was perfect for getting everywhere else on the island.
