This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!

The room was great - big and comfortable and private bathroom. Nicer veranda to sit and watch the sunrise over the river. Can swim in the river there too. Just a short cycle into Don Det centre and Don Khone

The staff was very friendly and helpful with very good English. Arranged the transport from the hotel to Don Det for free. The room was on the ground floor and A/C worked very well.

Nice big room and bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Fridge well stocked with drinks to be paid for. Good free coffee, served by the owner Darren. He is a wealth of information re the island, and will go out of his way when he can, to help you. Nice garden with a lovely riverside view. Room has both aircon and fan, which was perfect. WiFi was also good and reliable
