I had the most wonderful stay at Taragala Chalets. Saman was so kind and looked after me so well. I felt very privileged to stay in such a beautiful place and see amazing birds in the garden and in the wetland nature reserve beside it. Nothing was too much trouble for Saman and he took me around and showed me the lovely village, the beach and Taragala Rock. The food was amazing. It was the highlight of my trip. I have very happy memories and hope to be back one day.

Best and first choice in Rekawa!Amazing new property, spacious rooms, bathroom, cozy terrace with super comfortable furniture. Great pool with a bar, good restaurant. Very nice host and overall the team, big thank you to everyone for our stay. Not many F&B options in the area, swimming in the ocean is not an option. But what you can a get is a beauty of nature, tranquility and full relax.

One of the best experiences in Sri lanka trip within 3 weeks. Amazing place, not only appartment but all Rekava. Definately one of the most underrated places in Sri lanka. If you are in doubts - you definately should go there. Peace, silence, nature, ocean, turtles, amazing people - this is Rekava. Lookout lodge is excelent accomodation - new house, all clean and comfy, perfect location near the beach and turtle watch center. Good restaurant nearby (reccomended by Chami). Excelent breakfast and peacefull conversations with owner. We felt like home there and all our wishes were fulfilled with smile. And - there is a pool now - we where the first users and it is great. Appriciated by our boys. Sorry that we booked just 2 nights there, would have liked to stay at least a couple more days. The location next to and view of the lagoon are great, we were able to see a great variety of wildlife. The beach is in walking distance. Our host was super friendly and welcoming, organized tuktuks, transfer, and a turtle walk for us, all the food was homemade and delicious, overall would recommend!

stayed here for one night and it was such a peaceful and relaxing experience. The villa is surrounded by beautiful greenery, and the atmosphere is calm and refreshing. The pool area is very clean and perfect for enjoying a quiet evening while watching the sunset. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, with all the basic facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my short stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway close to nature! 🌅🏡✨

We want to say big thank to the owner and all the stuff in the villa, especialy Lahiru, which care about us and ours needs here. The villa is a little bit out off bigger village, but close to the several beaches. There are few restaurants in walking distance also. Accomodation is exactly as in pictures. Nice, comfortable and good equiped for 2 people. Villa offer one bedroom with comfortable bed, A/C and fan is here. Nice bathroom have everything ( hair dryer, shampoon, conditioner and all other stuff). Outdoor kitchen is connected with outdoor seating area with a view on pool. Breakfast were excellent ( european or sri lankan every with fresh fruit and Hubice, coffee or tea ). You can order lunch or dinner, some refreshment here also. We spent here quality time. Entire villa is private with Lahiru or some other stuff here.

We loved our stay At One, it had almost family vibes! Staff were excellent, breakfast and dinner was beautiful. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a little bit different accommodation. Premises are kept really clean and tidy.

The hotel is brand new with very few rooms which are generously sized. The pool is great and big enough for a swim. Nipuna and the team were very attentive and accommodated any requests swiftly. The locations is 5 minutes walk from the beach and right next to a beautiful spot to watch sunset on the lagoon.

    The hotel owner and the whole staff are super friendly and helpful, they made us feel like home. Breakfast was really tasty and staff always prepared suitable food considering our allergies. The location is gorgeous right at the beach and the surroundings are beautiful and tranquil. A special place to enjoy the sounds of ocean and let your mind calm down.

    The location right next to the bird sanctuary is fabulous, and it is only a short walk to Taragala Rock, from here you have a perfect wiew of the whole area. The garden is an ideal place for watching birds of many kinds. Saman is very helpful, and he helped arranging a boat trip in the lagoon. The breakfast was very nice, and generous. The WiFi , aircondition, the shower all worked well. The bed was comfortable.

    Wonderful location right on the beach in Kalametiya. Breakfast and dinner were both served on the beach - the food was really excellent and the atmosphere totally relaxing. The proprietor and his delightful family take a pride in offering a unique, personal service to the guests. Another bonus is the proximity of the hotel to the amazing Kalametiya bird sanctuary. This hotel exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended.
