We had a lovely stay at Jay’s. He is a great host and his sister is an excellent chef. They made us a great dinner and breakfast with vegetables from their own garden. We often read ‘the best curry’ in many reviews, but I can truly say that this where the best meals we had during our trip in Sri Lanka (and we had many good meals).

A wonderful and comfortable hotel in a stunningly beautiful place on the lake. A spacious room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the sunrise. Delicious food and a pleasant stay. This place was an absolute experience! Everything was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The interior looked good and was well designed, the bathroom door and the facilities. Also it is well situated next to Cargills Supermarket and in short walking distance from the bus stop. The value for money really is very good at this property! The staff is outstanding and they even made me an amazing vegan breakfast. I can highly recommend having a stay here.
