The accommodation is very clean, comfortable and has air conditioning, fridge, mosquito net, hair dryer and shampoo. It's about a 7 minute walk to the beach, same to the city on the main street. It's about half an hour to coconut tree hill. The host communicated with us via Booking and responded quickly, when we needed a ride in heavy rain to the center of the main street (around the corner basically), he took us by tuktuk free of charge. Our host recommended a company for a whale watching trip. The host lent us a spoon when we bought yoghurt at the accommodation and didn't realise we didn't have cutlery. Breakfast was big and tasty. Great value for the price, helpful host, very nice and clean accomodation. Good wifi.

Place is very close to the center and to the really nice beach. Room was big enough, with AC, fan and fridge which was very convenient. There is also a net around bed so you don’t need to worry about insects. Owner is such a kind a cute person, she made us feel like home. Ocean Light Mirissa is a newly opened property located close to the main road. The rooms offers sea view and we booked with the bed & breakfast option, and they served us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast tailored to our preferences - everything was thoughtfully arranged. While parking can be a bit of a challenge, the property owner made sure to organize a proper parking spot nearby, which we really appreciated. The owner and the service staff is exceptionally helpful. A special thanks to Sachin, who worked tirelessly to make our stay comfortable- he truly went above and beyond, even checking in with us after our checkout. As a new property they are maintaining everything well and we will definitely visit them again.

The location is sooo cute, i loved the room, big and clean. The staff was very helpful, they offer different tours (I went on one and it was well organized) and discounts for the local restaurants. I was a little concerned booking here since it’s a new opening, but it ended up being a good choice, no complaints!

We loved our stay here- one of the biggest rooms we've had during our time in Sri Lanka. Excellent location very close to the beach and many shops and restaurants, cafes. The staff were friendly and there was a fridge in the room. We really enjoyed the private balcony too in the evenings.
