We loved everything with this house and the host, and wished we had booked more than one night! The house and garden was beautiful and it instantly felt like “home”. Close to town but off all the noisy roads. The rooms were good and had everything we needed, one with an ac. In the morning she came and made breakfast for us! We had forgot a bag 3h away with tuktuk, and they helped us with a driver who picked it up for us in just a few hours! This saved a whole day traveling for us and was more than we could ask for! Thank you! ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay. Nice clean and quiet rooms spacious enough for Family with 2 Kids. My Kids love the french fries esp. And food in the hotel. Maxi and his Team are extremely professional. Best Small hotel that we had in Sri Lanka especially in Terms of breakfast, including proper food handling :) Worth recommending :)

Eranga is a super nice host. The room was very clean and had a nice view. Eranga managed all our trips, he even went to the train station to get us train tickets to Ella 1 month before arriving. That was so nice! Thank you! Eranga is very caring and always asks for help. Wifi is always working. This place is absolutely top and definitely one of our favorite places in Sri Lanka. Thanks!

I felt very welcomed to Kandy City Village by everyone. The room was very clean when I arrived. I had a wonderful night sleep. All of my questions were answered. The breakfast was fantastic! They will have breakfast ready at the time you agree upon. The place is within walking distance of the train station and bus stations. The bathrooms had toilet paper and SOAP!

AMAZING STAY. Janaka and his wife are adorable and so hospitable. The place was very peaceful and the views are incredible. Janaka’s wife’s cooking was also nothing short of amazing! Would highly recommend and plan to come back one day in the future!
