We had an absolutely fantastic stay in la Ferne el dar! We’ve stayed in central Marrakesh at the beginning of our trip and were now, for our last nights very happy about a quiet few days here before flying home. The private tents are absolutely beautiful, the pool area is so inviting and the food is all grown locally at the premises and absolutely delicious. If the eggplant chickpea curry is still on the menu, definitely trie it!!! Service was great and everyone was incredibly helpful and accommodating be it to arrange a pick-up from the bus station or accommodating dietary requirements.

Riad Alaka is a comfortable and very welcoming place to say. The location is very good for most attractions. Although not a restaurant, a meal can be arranged with beer and wine. The food was delicious and matched any other we tried in Marrakech. The breakfasts were also very good. The highlight was the staff; very professional and friendly. Aziz, the manger was extremely helpful. He willingly sorted out a couple of problems (with outside companies- not the Riad) we had which we were very grateful for. We would most definitely stay here again.

The terrace where we had breakfast was beautiful, the breakfast was a lot of different breads and this was very kind , perhaps a little less bread and more fruit would have been good - the owners and staff were lovely friendly and attentive - thank you . It was my partners birthday and we were brought mint tea on the roof top garden to watch the sun set which was such a perfect touch . A big thank you too to Sultan - he was a big hit during our stay !

I’ll admit, I’m usually skeptical when a property has such stellar reviews (looking at you, Google Maps), but this place truly deserves every single one of its 10/10 ratings. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. The management and staff are the friendliest, most attentive, and warm-hearted people I’ve ever encountered on all my travels. The property is impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and feels like stepping into a Pinterest dream. And the freshly prepared, on-site meals? Absolutely divine – some of the best food we have tasted in Morocco! Overall, a flawless stay. Highly recommended!

Lovely accommodation with great personal support of the two brothers hosting you. Used to be their grandparents house, which they modernised yet with the old character preserved.     Beautiful property, great breakfast and excellent customer service. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Loved all the animals on site; dogs, cats, donkeys, chickens, peacocks, turkeys etc. and you could easily spend your whole trip without leaving the grounds as it is such a pretty place to stay. There was no stress around getting taxis as the hotel has their own taxi service at a really reasonable price. It is a chilled out, peaceful and relaxing hotel. I would go back to Marrakech just to stay here again!

    Sparkling clean and perfectly located in the heart of the Medina in a quiet, yet very accessible alley. Most important of all, the staff was the highlight of the riad, they went above and beyond to take care of us (and all of the customers). Our deepest appreciation to Olivier and his staff. For those interested, the property is dog friendly, and they have excellent recommendations for restaurants, guides, tours, etc. (not the usual touristy stuff…)
