Of the several places that I stayed in San Agustinillo, Mazunte and Puerto Ángel, Casa Azul was definitely the best! The grounds/gardens are beautiful, the swimming pool, little kitchenette and clothes line were certainly a plus and I really enjoyed the shade and privacy of the courtyard and hammock areas. I appreciate the round design of our bungalow and how it allowed for air flow, since it gets hot and the unit had a light airy feel(not dark/depressing like some other places I stayed). Short walk(steep) to the beach in San Agustinillo, which was also my favorite beach of the area.

Great hotel, clean, quiet, beautiful design, outdoor kitchen and blender and the air conditioning was a life saver. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, letting us check in early and checkout late and ordered us a taxi when we left. We had the lovely end room with large patio that kept cool with a fan and plunge pool. Enjoyed watching the birds from the hammock and swing. It felt set back enough from the road, but easy to get to shops and beach.

This place was wonderful. Very relaxed. Everyone was chill, helpful and friendly. The room was super earthy with a very comfortable bed. Fresh breezes. Great pool with the beach and beach right in front. I loved it. Will definitely be back.

Everything looks new, the air-conditioning in the room was amazing, each bed has its own lamp, the staff is very welcoming and the location is in a quiet area that is close to the restaurants and the beaches.     The location is stunning and was perfect for us to unwind. Our cabańa was right on the beach and had everything we needed. The staff were wonderful and friendly and we loved the way they worked so well together with fun and enjoyment. Food was great, freshly cooked using as many local in-season ingredients as possible. Menu changed daily with specials using local seafood. The large shaded area was particularly good for us to stay out of the midday sun while reading, resting in the hammocks and sampling the cocktails.

    A beautiful lodge in a great location right on the beach. The balcony with deck chairs and hammock overlooking the beach was just stunning. Extra sun beds on the beach and the use of the outside kitchen was great. The staff were very friendly and super helpful.

    Super location with view to the sea from our bungalow. Large terrace with hammock and several chairs. Less than 5 min to very beautiful beach. Helpful hints in the information folder. Clean swimming pool. Quiet and peaceful. Mosquito screens at all windows and door.
