Beautiful cottage with a wonderful view. We got the double room in the house with private bathroom (not ensuite, but we didn’t mind). The room is tastefully decorated and even though it’s not big the space is well utilized. The bed is bigger than what it looks like on the photos. There’s also a nice balcony and air conditioning. Maria, the host, is a lovely sweet woman who gave us many good tips in the area. Be sure to go the Al Medas and O Burgo restaurants!

It's perfect place to escape from a loud city for a couple of days. It's full of fresh air, hiking, and walking paths, and nature all around. Our house was clean, pleasantly warm, and cozy. The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to our requests.

Dear reader Even though I don't usually give reviews because they are usually subjective, I would like to give one now. I stayed at this beautiful hotel together with a work colleague in CW12 2024. We were given a very warm welcome, almost like a family, and you could see how everyone looked after the guests. The breakfast was excellent and you got everything you needed the homemade bread or the rolls were very tasty. The restaurant was also very good, for the first time in my life I ate goat, a speciality, I can only recommend trying it. All in all it was a great time on site and I highly recommend this hotel. Location is brilliant. Right by the shops and main Taberna. The views are absolutely breathtaking! The couple who own it are so lovely and the staff around were really friendly and helpful. It has everything you could want and more.

I was not sure about Talasnal, as nobody on social media is aware of the Xisto villages - but it was lovelier than I expectant it to be! It was clean, interesting, situated lovely, even the stairs to reach the rooms tickled our fancy! The balcony was superb!I wish more people can visit these villages - and the road is really nothing to be scared of ( drive slowly!). I am so glad that we were able to explore these villages!

    The house is perfectly located 10km outside Lousã. The surrounded area is quiet and very beautiful. The view is breathtaking for people wanting to switch off for a couple of days. We booked last minute, as we had other plans/accomodation but we had to bring our dog. So thanks to our Host for letting us check-in earlier and check-out later, due to work commitments. The house is very beautiful and cosy.
