The view at the front of the house is absolutely spectacular! We could see all 4 of the other islands within the central group of the Azores, amazing! With Sao Jorge and Faial in the foreground, Pico behind it with its volcano Pico that we could see and all the way to the left we could also see Terceira. No house in front of us, just green lush terrain. The house seems to have been recently renovated and the interior is really beautiful and tastefully done. It is a spacious house, with separate kitchen and separate dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to prepare our meals there for several days. The bed is situated in the beautiful spacious living room and is very comfortable, we slept great! The small coffee corner in the front room of the diningroom is a beautiful lookout post in any weather, but especially on a rainy day. In the large living room there is also a corner set up for yoga or gymnastics exercises, very nice! At the back of the house we saw also a BBQ, which we didn't use, but is a nice extra.

I loved the Quinta and it's fruit garden(and the sweet white cat). The house is simple but very well equipped and organized. The garden is stunning and relaxing. The neighborhood is so quiet, is the place to be during a relaxing summer holyday.

Great and really exceptional place! It is tastefully decorated and well equipped. We loved living in the mill which has 4 stories, but mostly we stayed on the vast veranda. Possibility to wash our clothes. Its on a "main" street, but in reality very quiet. Supermaket and San Mateo sand beach both within walking distance. Host was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful!
