I live in a crowded city, and I made a tradition out of disappearing in the mountains for a few days every year, to get away from the daily madness. The idea is simple: 1) go to a remote place; 2) focus on learning / doing something that matters to you. This location was the best so far for my goals (but it looks like it would also be very enjoyable with a larger group, which is why I plan to return there for leisure). There is a well-positioned outdoor bathtub (ciubăr), and the host offers a wide variety of trips in the area. He is also very friendly.

The restaurant has a big menu and the food is good. You must try the potato salads and their soups too. The location was excellent. I was in walking distance to everything I needed. Everything was easy to find. The main strip is not too far to walk. A Supermarket is a 6 min walk away from hotel. Also loads of channels in English to watch. Movie channels. Channels showing shows we watch in uk. Did not get bored in the hotel at all. Was always something it’s over 200 channels.
