Nice Location with spacious room and staff is cooperative and fast. Noela was one of the best host i have experienced. Her tired-less efforts to fulfil all we need was appreciative. She deserves to be given more appraisal by the owner. Such employees are precious.

Shimbwe is a wonderful area. It's only 20-30 minutes out of Moshi, but it feels much more isolated. There are plenty of guided activities around to do, such as coffee tours and waterfall hikes, and you can also just walk around an explore on your own. It is a very friendly village community. The Guest House is really great. The views from common areas are spectacular, the rooms are big and have nice hot showers, the chef makes delicious, fresh meals each day. Victor, Macho and the team are all incredibly friendly and welcoming and will help you with anything you need.

Mr Daudi was super nice host, he did everything for us. You can get safari or any trip you want from him and with good price. Rooms was very clean and nice. There is different size of rooms, few bigger and smaller. Girls who made breakfast and dinner was super nice and sweethearts. Location is good, there is peace and very safety area. At morning you wake up when beautiful birds are singing and you can enjoy fresh juice and coffee with breakfast and just relax your mind

Beautiful location set in the village about a km from Marangu gate. Close to a waterfall for swimming and at night a welcoming fire to sit by. Food was great and plentiful. Lots of trails to explore in the area and the opportunity to hike Kilimanjaro for a day hike or to the top. To get to the home stay you can go by boda boda or taxi from marangu town/bus station; the roads to the village are very rough. Staff and host did everything to make our stay very pleasurable. Thank you.

(*) Hosts were above & beyond - Amedeus and team did everything to ensure an authentic and interesting experience. (*) Location was incredible - beautiful sights and there are lots of walks nearby to waterfalls, raw nature, etc. (*) Best food in Tanzania - generous portions, accommodating (to e.g., vegetarian diet), and the taste is 10/10
