Really nice staff and owner, you feel part of the family immediately. Fantastic breakfast, changed everyday 🙂 the bungalow had everything u need and it’s not noisy so you can get a good rest. I did not use the pool but it looked super nice as well.

It's a really cozy hotel. The owner and the staff are excellent. The food was great. Angelina was there for us to answer any question and assist us. A special thanks to Jafari the bartender and Simon the chef who showed us the night life in Nungwi. We had a really good time at your bungalows. I hope we visit you again.

This is the best place you could stay in Nungwi. The hotel is excellent, with hot water all time, clean rooms, facilities, very good wifi connection and air conditioner. The location is gorgeous, near the beach and near the shops, breakfast is not the same every day and is big and tasteful. The manager and the staff are really wonderful persons. Paul is remarkable. They helped us with many things we needed. We felt here better than in Marriott...Everything is new...and the people from here make you feel very welcomed and important for them! I do recommend this hotel to everyone wants to be treated in the most beautiful way and to have a very, very nice holiday! Thank you for all you did for us! We can't wait to come back!

From the moment I arrived, I immediately felt like home. We enjoyed a really cute & cozy garden, breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality of the staff made me feel even more like I'm home. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. And the location is absolutely unbeatable! The beach is literally around the corner - okay, maybe 5 steps away hihi. A perfect place for holidays if you enjoy uncrowded beaches. Appartment offers all the comfort and a fully equipped kitchen. Adam, the estate manager supported us with anything we needed: organising transportation, delivering produce, providing information, etc. Zanzibar felt like home.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and very responsive, always trying their best to make our stay the most comfortable as possible. The lady was preparing a really yummy breakfast. The facilities were very well looked after, as they were very clean.

I liked everything. A very nice place to stay. Bed was amazing, the room is big and clean with AC. Shower was also really nice. Value for money is excellent. I only tried the swimming pool the last day but it was also good. The woman that owns the hotel is very nice and helpful with everything you might need. It's a fairly small place off the main road but it's still in a good location. It's easy to get around from here. I had breakfast included and I decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant most of the days. Food is delish with fair prices! I really enjoyed my stay here and I would love to come back since I felt very welcomed and well taken care of. God bless and thank you!

    Two minutes walk to the beach. Very clean and cozy place. Everything was perfect 🤩 We Had a wonderful time. Very friendly owner and staff. Yummy food. Clean pool,Lovely Cat and Dog. Restaurants and Shops near the resort. Big thanks to Mr.Max, you made us feel so welcome, thanks for everything. Sure We will be back to this tropical vibes stay.

    To be very honest, everything. I was so happy with the guest house, it’s a very cozy place in Nungwi and you’ll definitely feel at home in Papaya. The staff is super friendly, always greets you with a smile and you can tell they’re truly willing to help! They even have a dog and a cat which adds to be homely atmosphere, they’re pets of the property and my friends loved them. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and super affordable! I’d definitely recommend.

    Wonderful staff and location and WiFi. Very clean. Rooms have self controlled air conditioning and very hot water!. Free unlimited water refills and wonderful breakfast included in the price. They also have a generator so when the power goes out (which happens regularly in Africa) you still have lights and a hot water. Pool is meticulously clean. Ahmet was there during my stay and he is always available to help you and arrange anything you need. The resident cat are dog are fun too. Highly, highly recommend.

    Babalao Bungalows is super close (short walk) to the beach but at the same time, peaceful and quiet.  This place has so much character!  I was lucky to see one of the many beautiful murals painted while I was there.  There was a problem with my air conditioner my second night there and Max took care of it right away the next day.  I really appreciated the late check out, too, as I had an evening flight.  Breakfast was good and I enjoyed hanging out with the adorable resident dog and cat.
