Hotel was really clean, the town had a lot of cool boutique shops, and food options to visit. The best stop off on i70 for a layover if you are travelling between colorado / Utah. Lots of options for breakfast, hot options and cold veggie options too. Easy to park and a gas station meters away from the forecourt. Pool and a few games if you have some time to kill. VERY comfy beds

Friendly welcome desk crew, liked the 24hr hot drink station in the foyer. When a smoke alarm started chirping (maybe due to a fault or low battery), the front desk girl was really eager to get sorted for us & came up to our level twice to diagnose which alarm was chirping.

    Affordable, pet-friendly. Though, not entirely. Residents are permitted to keep personal property outside, including low-lying bowls full of cigarette butts. Even on a short leash, dogs are attracted to the scent of tobacco. I pulled mine away very quickly, but apparently, he managed a mouthful. The next day, we made an emergency visit to the vet. He had pancreatitis. When I got back to the room, to clean up the vomit - I found cigarette butts. If you advertise as pet-friendly, it should be pet safe!

    I travel with my dog and I usually stay at La Quinta because they are dog friendly and a nice place to stay. I decided to try Best Western on this trip because they too are dog friendly, but I won’t make that mistake again. The room was disgusting and smelled of dog pee. I understand that pets might have an accident, so why would you have carpet in a pet room? Why not ceramic or laminate? That was a bad decision by Best Western. My dog and I will be going back to La Quinta in the future.
