We loved our stay here. We book the place last minute and it was one of the best stop during our road trip. The staff is kind, the place is quiet and feels very relaxing, other guests are respectful. You pretty much won’t hear a sound even in the evening while everybody is relaxing around their campfire. Room is clean, bathroom is clean. You are 15mins by car from Rapid City. I would love to come back here and stay longer.

Stayed 4 nights to explore Black Hills and Badlands. Was great being just outside Rapid City, but with a restaurant and bar on site an added extra, I didn't realize this when I booked. Adam and Andrea are great hosts, very helpful and would 100% recommend 👌 Nightly live music playing as well.

The location is the "top positive" for Trails End. Hill City is a very active tourist town. However, at these cabins a person has the quiet of being away from the bustle and close to a lot of sites.

We loved the cute little chalets. The hanging baskets of flowers outside each chalet added to the charm. The small lot and buildings were clean and appealing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would suggest a different name as I think the word motel downgrades a bit. Maybe even just The Chalets.

very clean, comfortable, and pleasant stay. hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. We really appreciated all the facilities including the guest laundry, continental breakfast, all day coffee, ice machine, and convenient parking in front of our room. the rooms were also very spacious, well stocked bathrooms, and comfortable beds.
