Loved "The Heartwood". The setting is really lovely, a mini forest in Poughkeepsie. The hotel is exquisitely designed and furnished, with generous rooms and beautiful fittings, selective but not pretentious. The Snug Room is gorgeous! Breakfast was robust and really good, made of healthy, high quality ingredients. The staff were great too! A really wonderful hotel, exceeding all expectations.

We had a large, clean and comfortable room. The air conditioner was quiet and efficient. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, the whole hotel was very well looked after, and the hot breakfast was very good.

    The breakfast was really good for the tier of hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and efficient and the location was great. Elevators came very quickly and there was a lot of close parking between the front and back entrances.
