The cabin porches just need better lighting. The light cover full of bugs so little light there was, was dimmed by the light covers. Did not like the lack of light at cabin steps and entrance. Can’t get to switch before you have to navigate steps with luggage. There is an odd rise over run. No light and light rain made it pretty hard. I love the sound of the rushing water near by and the beauty of the NC mountains. Staff was very pleasant at check in and in the restaurant. I also like knowing that they locked the gate at a certain time for security. As a female traveling alone, safety and security is very important.
