The Location, the vibe, the staff, the food, the room itself. Everything was just perfect. The area itself and all the ricefields right in front of and behind de complex are beatiful (aswell as the thousands of ricefields everywhere around in the area) everybody was so friendly. The staff was very attentive and helped with everything. the locals on the street were always smiling and waving, children were giggeling and blushing. we felt really great and welcome.

The bungalow we stayed in was very clean, had a private bathroom and was located directly next to the river. There are many opportunities to go swimming right here at the homestay and a little waterfall you can jump in from. Also you can visit a bigger waterfall in the area, 5 minutes away with the motorbike. The food was so delicious I could not get enough and the people running the homestay are the most kind people I met in Vietnam and that says a lot! I’m so glad I’ve come here it really felt like a visit in paradise!

I spent a few nights at Gateway. The staff is very kind and welcoming. I was upgraded to a private room on the second night and wow - the views! The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant is big and airy and the food is quite good. Good vibes all around.
