We absolutely loved staying at this homestay! It’s a true Vietnamese family home where you’re welcomed as only in Vietnam know how to do. The room was incredibly spacious, beautifully furnished with authentic pieces, and the garden was just lovely. The owner was exceptionally kind — he even came to pick us up by car at 10 PM where the bus had dropped us off. We would be more than happy to come back!

We loved our stay at La Y Riverview! It’s really well located just outside of the city center and right next to the river. A very relaxing setting to watch the fishermen boats go by and enjoy the most stunning sunsets by the pool. Phuong the manager is the loveliest man and incredibly helpful. One of the highlights of our Vietnam trip.

I wish I was in Hue longer because this was a fantastic place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable - felt like being at home. The hostess, Hanh, was the loveliest person. Since I had to board a sleeper train the next evening, she allowed me to return to the homestay for a shower before boarding, and even helped dry some of my washing. Her two dogs were adorable too. I will definitely stay here when I visit Hue again!

Our only regret is that we didn’t spend more time here. Super clean room in an extremely stylish and cozy house. The location is as perfect as it gets — very relaxed and quiet area just a few minutes away from the Royal Citadel. On top of everything, our hosts helped us immensely by literally organising our day tour around Hue — from car and boat transfers to food and sight recommendations. Fully recommend!

Friendly helpful staff . Handy location. Clean.Good breakfast. Family cooked us a meal on our last night. We were allowed to stay in our room until leaving for the airport.
