I like the position right on the estuary. We walked down a few steps from the garden to the beach and took nice walk along the sand to Kei River mouth. There were several fishermen there, very willing to chat and share their experiences on almost any topic (or fishing if you prefer). Kei Mouth is an extremely friendly village and Neptunes Cove is part of the great atmosphere. The quiz evening at the Yard is not to be missed - including the great buffet.

The location is absolutely stunning – just a short walk from the beach, with the sound of the waves creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It has everything you need for a self-catering stay, including a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely braai area. The calm atmosphere and fresh sea air made it a truly relaxing experience. Our host, Awie, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. You can really see the care and attention he puts into the place. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base to explore the Wild Coast, Whispering Waves is a hidden gem. The location was amazing, with views overlooking a game farm and the ocean - what more can you ask for. Excellent hosts, incredible food from the restaurant - especially the pizza's. The seven course Christmas lunch we had must have been one of the best ever.

We Had breakfast and supper here for two nights and it was really good. The wood fired pizza oven not only supplied our pizza's but also made the breakfast rolls too. The food and alcohol prices were reasonable too.
