We travel with a lot of people and made some changes that would actually would have been rejected somewhere else but they handle the situation with a lot of patience and professional. Any request was satisfied and made our stay incredible. thank you again.

The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. The staff and owner are making you feel welcome and at home directly. They put so much love in this project and in hosting you and you can feel and see it in all the details. The vegan food is the best food we've had so far on our trip in Colombia. The views are breathtaking. The location is in the middle of the jungle with a natural swimming pool with the river. The cacao and fruit tour is super interesting (highly recommend!). I can just recommend to stay here, we really loved it. Thanks again for everything. Highlight of our trip so far!

With garden views, Serrano Tayrona Lodge is situated in El Zaino and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and terrace. The tented camp features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Paulo and Brunella were wonderful hosts. It’s a great option for a family, a romantic couple, or even just friends. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone. Also, you had to take a motorcycle (or 30 min walk uphill) to get to the place - including crossing a river. It was an awesome way to enter the property but I wish I realized that sooner, as finding the location was a bit complicated. Fortunately, we just had backpacks so could easily get on the back of a motorcycle.

Do yourself a favor and book this eco hostal! It was AMAZING!! The rooms were spacious (including a hammock on your balcony, ensuite bathroom, aircon and TV), the breakfast was lovely, the pool was beautiful and the views of the river made and surrounds put you at ease. The location was also ideal, walking distance from really good restaurants and about 2kms to the entrance (El Zaino) of the Tayrona National Natural Park. P.S. Getting there was also easy, just take the green bus (not sure the name) from Santa Marta and hop off right at the Hostal.

With a terrace, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar or a meal in the restaurant. We stayed at Cayena by Masaya after visiting Tayrona Park, and it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional, from the reception to the restaurant team. The hotel has only a few rooms, which made it feel peaceful and never crowded—we always found a great spot to lounge by the beautiful, large pool (perfect for a proper swim). There’s also a covered area with yoga equipment, and we loved starting the day with a beach-front workout. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a super comfy bed, working AC, hot water, and complimentary refillable drinking water. The restaurant was a highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, and the à la carte prices were very reasonable, so we were happy to eat at the hotel. There are beds on the beach, but we mostly stayed by the pool since the ocean had big waves and a small sandy area during our visit (great for surfers, though). Overall, we had a perfect stay and would absolutely recommend Cayena for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, relaxing setting.
