Chris, Cesar and Christopher really did look after us, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is made up of several 2 bedroom villas which overlook the lake. We ate in the restaurant on the two of our nights, the meals were really tasty. This hotel comes highly recommended.

The prettiest ranch i have seen in my entire life. The family is devoted and welcoming. The horses are necessary to get up in the mountains, and the views are out of this world. Really amazing experience. I would 100% recommend as a comfortable retreat. The sunset's are out of this world beautiful.

Staff and chef were so accommodating, felt like we have new friends.

Our balcony opened up to the volcano. And the lake is right there too! ALL Arenal activities are close to this property. Mistico Hanging bridges, Arenal 1968 Trails, all lake activities are 100 feet away and a short walk up the road takes you to Shailee’s viewpoint. Another memorable view from there. Food is also excellent! We had the local sea bass one night-it’s 3 huge fish. Pura Vida

This is a beautiful property overlooking the lake. Our cabin was spacious and immaculate, the host was very accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent (I recommend the Dutch pancakes). The location is very convenient as it's in between the Monteverde and La Fortuna areas, which make for great day trips. There are also very nice restaurants in close proximity (walk or short drive). I can't recommend it enough.

Road leading up to Nepenthe very steep and in bad condition.

It was so peaceful and relaxing, and I felt comfortable and safe. Beautiful view of Lake Arenal and a lovely breeze, temperature was comfortable compared to other areas in the country, for end of March. No a/c, but with the breeze, it was not needed.
