Amazing location across from the beach in a quieter part of town, but a very easy walk or short tuk tuk ride to the bars and restaurants in town. The staff was top notch, rooms were comfortable and well maintained w AC and the food was great. Couldn't recommend any higher. Best place to stay in Puerto Lopez by far and the staff couldn't be any friendlier or more hospitable

If you go out in the evening there are nice bars and restaurants not too far away, seem to be quite safe on sea side, in general nice town.
