And of course this has to be the best breakfast in all of Spain: you’ll be full for two days! This is my second time staying here and I’ll be back, it’s the absolute best place in the area, especially if traveling with a dog. The road is actually quite easy and there are signs for the hotel: be sure to ignore the straight uphill option and instead take the slightly longer route that goes towards the beach but then winds back up the hill. There is ample parking up top behind the hotel. Muchas gracias una vez más!

Casa Rural Ekoigoa is set in the heart of the Basque countryside, by the Urola River. There is free WiFi and free parking and Zumaia Beach is just 7 km away. Highly recommended! Great stop on our Basque cycling tour and the small apartment with terrace was perfect for us on Easter Monday as we could cook a little dinner and run a load of laundry. Very friendly owner and pleasant rural setting with views. A few bar/cafes just up the small hill in town.

Miren is very welcoming, tried to help us with everything. Perfect location - 10 minutes to Zarautz, half an hour to San Sebastian, and at the foot of San Anton. Beautiful garden and walking trail. It was immaculate in every way, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Roma is a delightful host and it was a pleasure to meet her. We were travelling with three dogs , who were also welcome. This made our small holiday possible ! There were lots of little extras too such as drinks in the fridge and toiletries in the bathroom, which we greatly appreciated. The lovely kitchen was very welcome also.

Matteo is really friendly and helpful, the location in the middle of the mountain is perfect for relaxing in nature, and the house is gorgeous and squeaky clean. The rooms are really comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. They have plenty of animals around, which was great. Absolutely loved it, would definitely come back!
