The place was very cozy, and had all the amenities someone could ever need. The bed was very comfortable, and the place was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware, cookware, kitchen appliances, and basic pantry items. Towels and linen, as well as toiletries are all provided. The sauna also works perfectly, and had a convenient access to the patio for a cool down in the snow. Finally, the location was unbeatable as it was only a couple of minutes from the Olavinlinna castle, the city center, and walking trails on the islands.

Rooms with all appliances you could need (stove, fridge, microwave, washing machine, dish washer). We got a nice sauna time with river view. Rented bikes provided for free for a lovely trip around town!

The position is great, near the castle and the city center. I do recommend it!

Situated next to Lake Pyhäselkä in North Karelia, Holiday Linnunlahti offer self-catering apartments with a private terrace, sauna and loft. Joensuu city centre is 1 km away. Hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks are found right outside the door. Excellent location close to nature with the gorgeous Linnunlahti beach very close, but at the same time the city center is just a short bike ride away. Very good facilities (including a private sauna!) and friendly service. They rent out bicycles which is really nice for those without a car. It was a really good place to stay with kids.

This hotel is right by the River Pielisjoki and 200 metres from Joensuu Station. It has a restaurant, pub and a nightclub.

Free Wi-Fi is included in all rooms at Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel Joensuu. A modern bathroom with shower is standard. Some rooms also have a bath tub. We had an excellent stay here at this hotel. It is across the way from the train station, so it is very convenient. The hotel is large and the rooms are modern and clean. We had great breakfasts and also visited the hotel's sauna for an extra 15 euros. It had two hot tubs, a cold tub, sauna, steam room, and an "experience" shower not to be missed. A great hotel!
