Our host were extremely accommodating as our ETA kept changing due to traffic coming from Belgium. The family suite was perfect. There was plenty of room and beds for everyone to sleep. It had an nice size bathroom and a kitchenette. I was very happy with our stay and will happily book again next time I am in Paris. To top off our stay, we had a lovely and delicious breakfast provided by our host.

It a a 10 min walk to a bakery and small shops and about 15 mins walk to the station to get metro into Paris for 2.50 Euro (download the app for tickets). I found free on street parking about 8 mins walk away, most spaces are paid parking so you have to search. Several restaurants also within walking distance.

But what went utterly wrong was my check-out. I was set to leave in the morning around 11.00am. I was told to leave the keys of the flat in the letterbox. And then, I tried to get over the entrance gate but it was closed. There were no one coming in and after waiting anxiously for 15 minutes for someone to come up and open the door: I had to escalate the entrance gate to get out of the property premises. Can you imagine if I had been not so fit, not so young or disabled? That is unacceptable. How is that the landlord doesn’t plan for the check out like this? It’s mad.
