The total stay was really comfortable. Everything was fine. We got 24×7 water and electricity supply, which was really good. I liked their service. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location - for me it was worth it even though it is about a 30 minute walk to the main tourist street. Honestly it is nice being away from the tourist trap main drag even though I was only there for a few days. The road that leads to the hostel has lots of shops, some restaurants and bars, the sister hostel’s travel cafe, and Rachna Bookstore for great books and food. So if you are around for a while its great. The property is set in dense greenery, and does indeed have lots of birdlife. Great common spaces, great balconies, great food for the set dinners (I didn’t have the breakfast or lunch), and the staff is super knowledgeable, especially Saran. They have a deeper and somewhat offbeat lost of things to do in Gangtok, and will organize hikes for groups from the hostel. The standout for me here was the design - an amazing space compared to any other hostel I’ve been to in India. And very clean :)

Situé à Pelling, l’hébergement The Blue House offre une vue sur la montagne. Il propose un bar et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. I really like the ambience and the vibes here are really calming. My children also enjoyed the place and the staff here were soft spoken and child friendly too. The food was also good be it paneer tikka or dal fry. Their signature dish was really good.

L’établissement Jo'stel Dream Glory Hotel and Bar - Near MG Marg se trouve à Gangtok, à 4,1 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Institut Namgyal de tibétologie. Nice hotel. Staff is very helpful. Great food. They have multiple options and menu for breakfast. 5 mins from MG Marg. Shops are there beside hotel.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape that added to the charm. The food was absolutely delicious—home-cooked, authentic, and easily some of the best I’ve had during my travels. On top of that, everything was offered at very affordable rates, making it a great value for money. I’m genuinely grateful for the hospitality and care shown by the owner and their family. This homestay isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel at home. Highly recommended!

I just like everything about the homestay... Excellent hospitality ... Just love it 💞.. hope to visit the place once more 🫶

Often the best views are when you reach the Top. Mt. Narsing Village is a perfect getaway who want to unwind in the lap of nature. Get up early & if you are lucky you will see the grand Mt Kanchenjunga in all its beauty from this resort. We visited in 2nd week of April & found lovely flowers all over, some beautiful birds & amazing sounds of nature. The remoteness of this resort makes it even better as you are away from the crowd & just be yourself. Staff is very helpful & supportive to all your needs. Food was good and well prepared & we got piping hot water for bath (The night we stayed there was heavy rainfall & there was no Power).
